This Friday, March 7, the battle begins in the second CS2 tournament of the season in the A1 Gaming League. You can watch the matches on the league’s Twitch.tv channel. The biggest esports league in Bulgaria welcomes the participation of three new teams compared to the previously announced lineup: MoneyF, Aurora, and RushB (the latter having competed in an earlier tournament this season). These three teams will replace Tricked, 500, and SINNERS, who are unable to participate for various reasons.
The Bulgarians of 500 will miss the tournament due to an extremely tight schedule. Meanwhile, SINNERS decided to withdraw because points will not count towards VRS which will be used for invites on MRQ Austin Major.
As for Tricked, the team will not compete in the tournament, because of no VRS core possible.
A total of 24 teams will begin the battle for a share of the 30,000 BGN prize pool. 16 will be starting from the group stage, while later in the playoffs, eight more teams will join the fray. Notable participants in the group stage include OG, the finalist from the previous tournament, BetBoom Team, last spring’s champion, and one of A1 Gaming League’s most frequent competitors, Zero Tenacity.
On an individual level, viewers can look forward to seeing players like former G2 Esports IGL Nemanja „nexa“ Isaković, as well as former talents from MOUZ and Astralis, „Chr1zN“ and „Buzz,“ among many others.
A1 Gaming League is once again being held with the general support of Samsung, as well as A1, Lenovo, Monster Energy, Hellcase, TP-Link, and Happy Delivery.
The tournament is organized by Key Events & Communication.
